FUNDING

Kumbia Kindergarten has had a very successful year with giant leaps forward being made in many learning areas such as culture via the Blueprint for the Bush funding. We were also lucky enough to be supported by FRRR this year which gave us more space and a much used shade structure, shelter from the hot Queensland sun.

Kumbia Kindergarten has also received funding from The South Burnett Regional Council to install Insulation which has made a massive difference to the climate inside the building. The South Burnett Regional Council has also provided funding for a new fence, which will commence shortly.

Kumbia Kindergarten has also received sponsorship for our Jazz On The Lawn event from Tarong Energy.

Boehringer Ingelheim recently donated a computer for Committee and student use.

We wish to thank the people above and all of those whose generous donations help the children in the area obtain a fantastic pre-prep early education.

Events

This year the kindy has once again hosted the very successful Jazz on the Lawn. A day of good food, music and company. Another highlight has been our Kindy Car Cup which was wonderfully supported by the Austin Healy Brisbane Chapter. We thank all those who were involved with their generous support.

We are planning an under 13 Disco in Term 4, after the very succesful one we held in Term 2. Details to be advised.
